Preparing For Your Move

List of documents required by Canadian border agency:

Form BSF186 (Personal Effect Accounting Document)
Form BSF186A (List of imported goods)
Canadian passport (for Canadian citizens)
Passport with valid visa issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada Agency (for Non-Canadian citizens)

Crossing Border To Canada

If a client drives a car across-border (2 options):

Meet with moving crew at the Canadian border at agreed time
Cross the border separate from the movers

Since goods are not with client, the client must provide the border officer with the above listed documents
Border officer will stamp the documents and assign client with a file number
After documents are stamped, provide Move Plus with copies of the passport, and BSF186, BSF186A forms via email or text

If a client flies across-border to Canadian airport:

Belongings can be declared upon arrival into Canada
Above stated documents must be provided to a border officer who will stamp and assign a file number
After documents are stamped, provide Move Plus with copies of the passport, and BSF186, BSF186A forms via email or text

Either you, or our moving crew must provide the border officers with a copy of the stamped forms.
